Mirrors are often prominent decorative features in a home or office and can be propped against a wall or hung above a dresser or fireplace.
In smaller areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms a mirror can add a sense of space while in larger rooms they create a feeling of grandeur.
Mirrors aren’t just for looking in; often they are so exquisite that they can easily double as pieces of art in their own right.
Bevelled mirrors are particularly attractive in lounge and dining rooms, as well as entrance ways. For best impact and maximum style, the bevel should be at least 20mm wide.
When selecting a bathroom mirror you need to consider a few points, such as do I need a heater pad to stop the mirror from fogging up? Does the mirror need a frame? Should I use a wall mounting system such as clips or dome fittings? Have the edges been sealed to stop delamination of the mirrored backing?
